How do I get pricing?

Firstly, Blacksmith Print Co. only sells to professional photographers and not the general public. If you are a professional photographer then you need to go through our application process and speak with our owner about your business before getting pricing sent to you during the call.

What is the maximum number of spreads/pages?

Albums can be ordered all the way up to 50 spreads / 100 pages.

Do I need to already be ordering 15 albums a year or more?

Not necessarily, some customers come to us when they have not started to incorporate albums into their offerings yet, but moving forward they want to include albums with all of their packages and have 15 or more that would get a book moving forward. Blacksmith does take clients like this on a case by case basis.

Why do you require a minimum amount of albums?

Blacksmith is a boutique album company where our owner wants to work one-on-one with each photographer to ensure the highest level of service possible and this works best with a small number of clients who have albums as a key part of their business model. It’s the same reason we only take on 30-50 new clients each year.

How are you able to include everything you do without costing more?

Like all of our favorite companies (Ex: In-N-Out Burger) we’ve traded optionality for a focus on quality. So we have fewer cover materials, cover options, book sizes, etc… and by not buying all that extra cost & complexity it allows us to spend money in other places like our incredible presentation box, quality binding materials, free cover options, free shipping, and so on. All while still being made in the USA in sunny California.
